2nd pick-up spot added in Pickering for our Amherst Island Winter Adventure

We have added a second pick-up spot at Whites Road Plaza in Pickering located at Whites Road and Kingston Road (Hwy 2) on the southeast corner.

Three Snowy Owls being reported on Amherst Island!

I received an email from Janet Scott, the Bird Lady of Amherst Island that three Snowy Owls have taken up residence on the island. By the time of our tour on there is a good possibility of more Snowy Owls will have arrived. A Golden Eagle has also been observed around the island for the last week.  There are also recent reports of Short-eared Owls, Long-eared Owls and Barred Owls.
